Edgbaston College Wraps Up Half Term with Exciting Fundraising Events

This past week at Edgbaston College was filled with creativity, laughter, and excitement as students came together for two highly anticipated events: the Pumpkin Carving Competition and Pie the Teacher, both aimed at raising funds for the upcoming Christmas Fair.

The Pumpkin Carving Competition saw students channel their artistic talents into crafting unique and imaginative designs. From spooky faces to intricate patterns, the level of creativity was remarkable. The competition fostered a fun and festive atmosphere, giving students a chance to showcase their skills and get into the Halloween spirit.

Meanwhile, Pie the Teacher proved to be a hilarious highlight of the week. Teachers bravely volunteered to be on the receiving end of a pie, while students eagerly lined up for their chance to take aim. The light-hearted event brought everyone together, with laughter echoing throughout the campus.

Both activities were organised to raise funds for the much-anticipated Christmas Fair, which will take place after the half-term break. The fair is set to feature festive stalls, games, and performances, with proceeds going towards school projects and charity initiatives.

Thank you to all the students, staff, and volunteers who participated in making this week’s events a success. Your support will help ensure that this year’s Christmas Fair is a memorable occasion for the entire Edgbaston College community.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
