Owais founded Edgbaston College in 2015 and previously worked as an M&A banker at UBS and J.P. Morgan.
Owais holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and an PGDip in Entrepreneurship from the University of Warwick.

David is an experienced Biology teacher with over 29 years of experience. He was previously the Head of Sixth Form at a grammar school.
He holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Leeds

Jeffrey is a qualified Maths and Physics teacher who has been with Edgbaston College for 6 years.
Jeff has an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
Jeffrey teaches Mathematics & Further Mathematics Edgbaston College. He is also our Vice-Principal & Academic Lead.
Dan is a highly experienced Economics teacher with over 30 years experience teaching A-Level Economics. Dan was also an Assistant Headteacher prior to joining the College.
Dan also held a role as an accountant at KPMG before entering teaching.
Dan holds a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Birmingham.
He teaches Economics at Edgbaston College.
David has 30 years’ experience in education. Having studied geography at Cambridge, he taught at a wide range of schools in New Delhi, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Liverpool.
David was then a Headmaster at QEGS Wakefield for over 10 years before coming back to his favourite subject at Edgbaston College. He is currently an AQA examiner for A-Level geography and remains a long-suffering Derby County fan!
David holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.

David has 30 years’ experience in education. David has previously taught Physics and been Head of Department, prior to eventually being Headteacher at his previous school.
David holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics and a PGCE, both from the University of Leeds.

Elizabeth is a qualified teacher who has taught English Language and English Literature at secondary and tertiary level for over 30 years, predominately at a private school. She is also an examiner for GCSE, A Level and IBAC English Literature.
Elizabeth holds a BA in English and Drama from Exeter University, an MA in Architectural History from Keele University and a PhD in English Literature and Creative Writing from Aberystwyth University. She also has a PGCE in English and Drama from Bath University.
She teaches English Literature and Language at Edgbaston College.
Jane has taught Biology for over 35 years at a number of schools. She has held a variety of senior leadership roles including Head of Science and Assistant Principal in charge of a Learning School with responsibility for Science, Mathematics and Physical Education.
She gained a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Biology and a PGCE from the University of Liverpool.
Jane teaches Biology at Edgbaston College.
Katrina is a Admissions and Marketing Officer for Edgbaston College.
She previously worked within the recruitment industry for independent firms as a consultant, marketing administrator and training manager.
She holds a BA in Business Management from the University of Sheffield.
Steve is a qualified Maths teacher with over 35 years’ experience. This has included Further Maths at both GCSE and A level, along with STEP preparation.
Steve holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a PGCE from the University of Birmingham
He has over 30 years’ experience of being an examiner at a range of levels across the three main exam boards.
Steve has held a variety of Senior Leader posts in secondary schools for over 20 years. This includes being the Headteacher at his previous school. He also acts as an Educational Consultant for a number of organisations.
Steve teaches Mathematics, Further Mathematics at Edgbaston College.
Umar has worked as an A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Science teacher for over 14 years. Umar is also an examiner for A-Level Chemistry.
Umar holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham and a PGCE from the University of Warwick.
He teaches A-Level Chemistry at Edgbaston College and founded the College alongside with Owais in 2015.
Husna is the College's Pastoral and Enrichment officer.
She holds a BSc Psychology with Counselling Skills, Middlesex University and an MSc Child & Adolescent Mental Health - Kings College, London.
