It is required that you also study A Level Maths alongside Further Maths. This is a well-respected A Level and is often a requirement for courses in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering. However, the subject is also well received in Economics or Medicine applications, due to its challenging reputation. This is especially true for top universities. Therefore, you may want to combine Further Maths with other relevant subjects to you, such as Sciences or Economics.
